12 Practical Tips To Get Glowy Skin Naturally At Home| How To Have A Glowy Skin

There are various beauty products available on the market that claim to give us glowy skin. These products may harm the skin. And their effects will not last forever. For attaining healthy glowing skin, we need to focus on some healthy habits that are as follows:

Note: I am sharing these tips through my real-life experiences. I have tried this lifestyle, and these are the practical tips that gave me naturally glowy skin without makeup.

12 tips to get naturally glowy skin

1. Practice Pranayam And Surya Namaskar

Practicing Pranayam and Surya Namaskar come on the top of the list for me in the journey of getting glowy skin. When I was in college, I used to practice Pranayam. It was just because I had heard we should practice Yoga or exercise daily. I preferred to choose yoga and practice pranayama.

There was also the introduction of Yog Guru Baba Ramdev at that time. So it was like he brought the Yoga revolution into the country at that time. Unknowingly I used to practice Pranayama. Soon I felt changes in me after doing that. It not only relaxed me mentally, but I could also focus more on the positive side of my life. I could feel I had less temptation for junk food. I could focus more on healthy eating habits, and ultimately one of the changes that I loved the most was the pimples on my face started disappearing. My face started glowing naturally.

It made me more curious about Yoga. Then I practiced learning Surya Namaskar. I realized practicing Surya Namaskar made me look beautiful in one go. In few months, I had got spotless healthy glowy skin naturally. I feel it is a shortcut for looking beautiful, toned body and healthy skin. Since that time, I have been fond of Suryanamaskar and Pranayama. These two yoga patterns are enough for me for a healthy lifestyle.

2. Eat A Fruit After Practicing Pranayam And Surya Namaskar

Yoga throws out toxins from the body. Eating fruits after that gives necessary nutrition to the skin and hydrates the body. Ii rejuvenates the skin, and you can see the effects in few days.

3. Breakfast

After practicing Yoga, the metabolism of the body increases, so you feel more hungry. You should have a homemade full breakfast. Do not hesitate to eat, because if you do not eat properly, you will feel low on the energy level. If you take breakfast, your face will not look dull. And you will feel energetic for the whole day.

After Yoga, I prefer to eat Paratha with a glass of milk. Now you will say Paratha may not seem to be healthy for some. But believe me, Paratha made in lesser oil or ghee is the perfect breakfast after Yoga because it satisfies your hunger. It has carbohydrates, and it gives the required protein to the body. But be sure you burn all the calories with your routine work. You should avoid this breakfast if you do not have many activities to do during the whole day.

4. Home Made Food

Homemade food is fresh and contains all the required nutrients. These nutrients are helpful to keep the body active and improve the skin repair system. So always eat a healthy homecooked meal.

5. Six types of vegetables in a salad

It’s my experience when I used to add six different types of vegetables like cucumber, tomatoes, carrot, beetroot, radish, and onions in my daily diet, ‘I had the most glowy skin. So if you wish to get shiny, healthy skin naturally, eat these salads regularly, and you will see the difference in some days.

6. Drink Ample Water And Hydrate Your Body

Water regulates body temperature. It helps to throw out toxins from the body and thus cleans the system rendering healthy, glowing, and hydrated skin. So drink ample water to clean your system.

7. Fruits And Vegetables Juice

Fruits and vegetable juices have necessary vitamins, minerals, and fibers, that hydrate the skin and rejuvenate it. They avoid fine lines, wrinkles, and early aging signs. You may drink any seasonal fruits and vegetable juices like pomegranate, orange, or sweet lime juice. In vegetables, you may prefer carrot or beetroot juice.

I found sweet lime juice to be very helpful in the journey of my glowing skin. It not only boosted my immunity because it has vitamin C, but it also helped to give a fresh glow. Another juice I will recommend to get glowing skin is carrot and beetroot juice. I mix carrot and beetroot juice. It is tasty and helps to build collagen.

The best juicer I found to take out fruits and vegetable juices in minutes is Philips Juicer, and I love it.

8. Whole fruits

A bowl of fresh fruits when we take in the daily diet help to give necessary nutrients to the body and thus makes the skin shiny, soft, and supple. For fresh, clear skin, intake of fresh fruits in daily diet is a must.

9. Dinner with salad

I again pressurize to eat homemade fresh food for dinner. But the necessity is you should eat dinner early. And should eat salad also for dinner. Eating dinner on time at least three hours before sleep will give you sufficient time to drink water. This way, food will also get time to get digested, and your stomach will be light when you go to sleep. Thus it will render you a calm, sound sleep. And you will wake up fresh in the morning.

A healthy meal during dinner will enhance your skin repair system, and you will get glowing skin.

10. Sleep On Time

Along with healthy food, our skin repair system gets active when we sleep. But sleeping patterns are crucial for healthy skin. You should get sound sleep and do not awake till late. Make a habit of going to bed early. So you get enough sleep of six to eight hours. If you get sufficient sleep, you will not get puffed eyes or dark circles. Your face will look fresh and skin healthy.

11. Always Be Happy

Have you ever seen someone who falls in love, their skin glows automatically? It is because love gives happiness and inner peace. So fall in love with yourself. Do the things which make you happy. Take measures to make yourself happily satisfied. But do not forget to be on the right path to a healthy lifestyle.

12. Surround Yourself With Positive People

There is a simple connection between positive peoples’ company and glowy skin. Positive people will never stress you. Thus you will feel mentally light with their presence. They have a good sense of humor and will never hesitate to appreciate you. Thus you would feel happy if someone compliments you. And it will reflect on your face. So surround yourself with positive people.

Other Habits To Follow For A Healthy Glowy Skin

In the journey of attaining glowy skin, some body-care rituals are also important. Let’s throw some light on these body care necessities-

how to get a glowy skin naturally at home

1. Take a bath

Taking a bath every day is fundamental to the body care routine. It helps to wash off all the sweat, germs, and dead skin. Thus do not be lethargic to take a bath every day.

2. Do Not Wash Your Face With Soap

Our face’s skin is delicate in comparison to the skin of other body parts. So using soap on the face may make it dry and dull. I always prefer to use a good quality facewash on my face. For me, Clean & Clear is the best facewash that I have been using for a long.

3. Exfoliate Skin

Accumulation of dead skin makes skin dull. So we need exfoliation of skin on time by time. For this, you may use scrubs once a week to wash away dead skin and get clear, healthy glowy skin.

4. Moisturize Your Skin

After washing your face or taking a bath, moisturizing the skin is essential. It helps externally to keep the skin soft and hydrated. It avoids dryness, dullness, and darkening of the skin due to external weather and climatic conditions. So do not forget to moisturize your skin after every wash.

5. Cover From Direct Sunlight And Dirt

Our skin not only gets tanning but may get severe damage due to sunburn when gets exposed to direct sunlight. So cover yourself and your face when you need to go out to avoid contact with direct sunlight and dirt, which makes the skin dull. You may use scarves to cover your face, full-sleeved jackets or aprons for the body, and gloves for the hands.

5 Toxic Habits You Should Never Have For Glowy Skin

Knowingly or unknowingly, we follow some unhealthy toxic habits, which we need to correct immediately to get and sustain healthy glowy skin. Let’s discuss them one by one-

how to look pretty without makeup

1. Do not drink Tea or Coffee

Drinking tea or coffee installs caffeine content in our body which causes anxiety and acidity. We can see tea’s and coffees’ adverse effects directly on the skin. Acidity leads to pimples and dullness of the skin. Thus avoid drinking tea or coffee. If you wish to get refreshed, drink fresh fruit juices, lassi, or lemonade.

2. Do Not Skip Meals Or Be Hungry For A Long Time

Skipping meals prevents the body from getting the required nutrients that we need for healthy glowy skin. So we should not avoid meals.

Being hungry for a long time causes acidity, which generates pimples on the face. So do not starve for a long time.

3. Do not smoke Or Drink Alchohol

Smoking and drinking alcohol hurts the skin badly. Smoking and drinking alcohol bring wrinkles and early aging. So abandon these habits immediately if you are into them to get glowy skin.

4. Do not stress

Again stress disturbs our digestive system. It creates pressure not only on mental health but also affects the stomach and its functioning. So do not stress. Surround yourself with positive people as I already said, do things which make you happy and try to sort out the problem rather than sitting and taking the burden on your mind.

5. Do Not Use Hot Water For Bathing

Taking a bath with hot water during winters is blissful. But if we expose our skin to hot water, it drains away all the essential oils from the skin, making it dry and dull. So do not use hot water for bathing. Better use warm water, which will help tone your skin by helping to open the pores and wash off all the toxins.

10 Home Remedies For Glowy Skin From Inside Out-

Though for getting glowy skin, there are several products available on the market. But these products may not soothe all skins at all times. The necessity of skin nutrients changes with changing weather. And we need to understand it first. The skincare products which are helpful during winters to nourish our skin will have adverse effects on our skin during summers or humid days. So whatever products or tips we are applying on our skin should be appropriate as per the weather.

Also, we should expose our skin less to chemicals. So to get a good, chemical-free treatment for glowy skin, we need to peep into our kitchen and natural surroundings. These two places are the treasure of Natural things which our skin would love. So let’s see how our kitchen and natural surrounding can help us get Glowy Skin-
